There Is A Little Island In The Sun
There is a
little island in the sun, where life is tranquil all day long
That is until
the sky turned gray, the impending sign of an unexpected day
But what you’ve
heard, you’ve none to fear
For it is only
grade one, and worse have been through here
And you know
what’s more, well it won’t hit us
Just brush on
by, giving us something to cuss
But brush on
by, is not what it did
For it changed
it path, to Antigua instead
And went
through it did, with northerly winds
That tore roofs
off houses, then came back again
And when it
changed, you knew quite well
That it’s eye
was on you, and you were under its spell
And then it
passed, with a reverse goodbye
Leaving most in
awe, and the rest to cry
But what we’ve
seen, we’ve got to know
Is just the
minimum, of the wrath that God can sow
So consider
this a warning, for all to heed
That stronger
construction, is a must indeed
And help thy
neighbor, for you’ll never know
That the next
time, it may be your house to go
